My Knee Your Knee is a blog that covers the experiences of Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum, a joint replacement surgeon who on August 22, 2016 had his left knee replaced and on October 9, 2017 had his right knee replaced.  Dr. Kirschenbaum is the Chairman of Orthopaedics at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in New York and has personally performed over 3500 knee replacement operations but did not replace his own knee.  Through this WordPress Blog Dr. K hopes to give insight and encouragement to other patients and even their surgeons.
